ULTRA Solar & Wind Solutions, LLC is the first Expert & Authorized Distributor of the MARILYN by RES!
Incorporated in 2006 in Maryland, RES’s early focus has been primarily on developing, testing and marketing their flagship residential vertical axis turbine. The RES patented and tested small wind turbine called “Marilyn” is our first commercially offered product with our first sale achieved in 2009.
Over 4 years of investment in design improvement, development manufacturing capabilities and testing have yielded a full production manufacturing facility and our breakthrough high performance product. Their current efforts are leveraging the scalability of the Marilyn design to meet ever growing demand for commercial and utility scale systems.
RES has a close working relationship with the University of Maryland Engineering department through their recent award of a Maryland Industrial Partnership Grant. The MARILYN 3.3kW & 500W were both tested by the University of Maryland in the Wind Tunnel testing facility. One of the full size 3.3kW units is currently installed at the University of Maryland.
